I graduated from UC, Berkeley School of Social Work in 1988.
I was licensed in 1990.
LCS15391
My undergraduate work started at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, OH and I received my BA from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI
I was a therapist at Kaiser Permanente in the Addiction Medicine and Recovery Program, part of the Department of Psychiatry from 1991 to 2022.
I was a supervisor of interns in the training program for many years.
I served on the EID (Equity, Inclusion and Diversity) committee.
I saw couples, individuals, ran groups and provided psycho-educational classes.
Training is what keeps me fresh! All these years I have been training continually, including specialized training in couples work, discernment counseling, mediation and in collaborative practice. I am also a Certified Co-Parenting Specialist.
I am currently co-chair of the board of Collaborative Practice Golden Gate, and I have presented dozens of Divorce Options seminars.
I have volunteered for many years with Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center mediating many different kinds of disputes.
Since COVID came into our lives, I have been working remotely. I was the last one to think this would work, but it has actually been working very well and I am uncertain about when and if I will return to the office. It has been very convenient for YOU and I am able to see people from anywhere in CA.
Please call me or email me with any questions. I am happy to consult. I am happy to see if I am the right fit for you and to refer you to someone else if I cannot help you.
