COSTS

I accept checks, Zelle, Venmo and PayPal.  

I do not accept credit cards.

I do not accept any insurance, but I am happy to give you a bill which you may submit for reimbursement. I do require payment directly from you.

I usually  require a retainer for Collaborative or Mediation cases.  Amounts to be determined based on the complexity of the case.

My fees are  currently $250/hour for psychotherapy, individual or couple.

                                                   $275/hour for mediation or Collaborative 

                                                   $275/hour for discernment counseling

I offer a free consultation for up to 1/2 hour to see if I can be of help  or to make a plan.

I will accept cancellation of any therapy or discernment sessions without charge if the cancellation is 24 hours or more before the session.   I require 48 hours notice for collaborative appointments due to the difficulty of scheduling and the length of the appointments.   I will also accept cancellation with no charge if there is an emergency.  Otherwise, I expect each session to be paid .

Everything you tell me is confidential with the following exceptions: 

• If you are a danger to yourself or others
• If you tell me about child abuse or elder abuse
• If anyone is in danger 

If we are working in a collaborative or mediation or even a discernment case,

I will generally keep confidential what is confided, but I will share pertinent 

things with the team  or with your spouse with your consent, or I will help you

say those things if that makes more sense.
